AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Permanent F0 ERROR CODE - Failed under 20 HOURS RUN TIME

I am absolutely infuriated by the premature failure of this TOSOT window air conditioner. We live in the Northeast and only had the opportunity to use this air conditioner for a single summer (a mere 20 hours), as it was used minimally in our living room. Upon turning it on this year, the unit would only blow warm air and show a permanent F0 error code, indicating a leakage in the coolant line. We diligently followed all of TOSOT's directions, including unplugging, resetting, and waiting 20 minutes, but to no avail. This has been the most frustrating and unacceptable experience I have ever had with a product purchase, and the customer service has been an absolute nightmare to work with. I strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid this TOSOT air conditioner at all costs. Reviews of this product clearly show that many customers have experienced this very same issue in under 2 years, and the company representative even confirmed this as a known common problem. Do not waste your time or money on this defective unit. Instead, I highly recommend investing in a Midea air conditioner. We have bought 4 of them for our bedrooms, and they have been running flawlessly for over 3 years. They are also much quieter in operation than the abysmal TOSOT unit. Save yourself the headache and frustration, and steer clear of TOSOT air conditioners.

OK, SO, I NEEDED A NEW A/C FOR MY BEDROOM, I HAVE 3 OTHERS, A GE, FRIEDRICH AND A HAIRE, THE NOISE AT NIGHT IS UNBEARABLE FROM ALL 3 !! GRANTED, IT'S IN THE WINDOW RIGHT ABOVE MY HEAD, SO I CUT ALL A/C'S SOME SLACK !! THEN AS I WAS READING UP RATINGS ON A/C'S AND THE NOISE LEVELS, THIS ONE PASSED ME A COUPLE OF TIMES AS ONE OF THE MOST QUIET YOU CAN BUY, FOR ANY AMOUNT ! SO BETWEEN THE SALE PRICE AND A COUPON, I GET IT DELIVERED FOR A SONG !! OK, OPERATION,, A LITTLE FANCY, I WISH IT WOULD JUST SAY '' COOL '' RATHER THEN ME HAVING TO LEARN HIEROGLYPHICS TO FIGURE OUT COOL AND DEHUMID MODE, BUT ON, SO WHAT, IT IS, AS YOU CAN SEE A BEAUTIFUL A/S, LOOKS GREAT IN THE WINDOW, CAUSE THE VENTS CLOSE WHEN YOU TURN IT OFF, SO IT HAS A NEAT, FLUSH LOOK !! AND I LOVE THAT YOU CAN ADJUST THE VENTS TO MOVE WITH THE FAN UP AND DOWN, OR STOP THEM AT ANY POSITION YOU WISH, ME, I LIKE THE BREEZE TO BLOW UP TOWARDS THE MIDDLE OF THE CEILING, THATS GREAT !! IS IT QUIETER THAN ALL THE OTHERS,, THE SHORT ANSWER, YES ! DO I THINK IT'S THAT MUCH QUIETER, OR AS QUIET AS THE REVIEWS SAID,, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT ?? IT IS QUIETER, AS I SAID, BUT NOT BY A LOT !! WHAT SETS IT APART IS THE LOOKS, THE QUALITY AND THE FACT THAT IT IS A LITTLE BIT QUIETER THAN A/C'S THAT WERE MUCH MORE MONEY !! Horrible Experience - NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER

I bought 3 of these units from Home Depot in July 30 of 2022 so I got 6 months use out of one of them which had a refrigerant leak and throwing a F0 error. They are not rechargeable and it would cost more than the unit is worth to do so. This is simply due to shoddy workmanship. Windows AC should never lose refrigerant and should never have to be recharged for the life of the unit. Because this is outside the 1 year warrantee period TOSOT will do nothing about it, so I have a really heavy piece of junk that will now cost me to get rid of. DO your self a favor and BUY AMERICAN... TOSOT is a Chinese company and doesn't stand behind their product even when it is due to obvious poor workmanship at the factory.

I LOVE THIS COMPANY

My first TOSOT AC window unit did not work when it was put back into the window...It was new last summer and used for three months...no problem. When it did not work this summer I contacted TOSOT's customer service...They were absolutely helpful...wonderful, even. After trying various things from unplugging and plugging back in, the solution was to send a new unit. And so, that's what happened,,,And it works perfectly! It is so rare to have such positive responses from these kind caring and effective ladies. THANK YOU, TOSOT!!!

Greatest Window Unit Ever

I hate window units! I wanted a quiet air conditioner. I did some research and landed on this air conditioner and it did not disappoint. I put the air conditioner on energy saver, it cools the room perfectly and then turns itself off. It is very quiet and I love it!

1.What's the lowest temperature you can set the thermostat to?

The lowest temperature you can set is 61°F (16°C). The temperature range is from 61 °F to 86 °F (16 °C - 30 °C).

2.Do the window ACs come out of the case or are they fixed solid?

All TOSOT window ACs are sold as the single box units.

3.In case, there is a power outage, will the window AC restart?

No, you will have to restart the unit manually.
